Harry’s Heroes on Wednesdays (2nd Wed. of the month is a long ride) and on Sundays leaves from Ransome service station corner of Green Camp Rd. and Molle Rd at 9.30am sharp.
One of the clubs longest running rides started by Harry Daw, an early member and successful midget speedway racer, some 30 years ago. A good number of our senior members have been regulars for the last 20 odd years. Destination is mostly the Jetty Café at Redlands with an occasional change to Mount Tambourine. The cohort is flexible so all bikes are welcome although one ride each month is reserved for genuine older vintage and veteran steeds. The ride proves popular to this day with a good number of our newer members joining in and carrying the tradition forward.
Toowoomba Tennis Association
Meeting at 8.30am at Toowoomba Tennis Association on Water Street, members enjoy a ride to a destination for lunch.
This regular ride alternates it‘s starting point between Maryborough and Hervey Bay.
The Maryborough ride commences at 9.00am from the tennis courts on Alice Street, and the Hervey Bay ride commences at 9.00am also, but from the United Servo at Eli Waters.
Please make contact to confirm which departure point is correct for any given month.
Every Sunday morning (except the first Sunday after our monthly meeting) we leave old Petrie Town, 901 Dayboro Road, Whiteside, at 9.00am. this ride varies depending on how many and what bikes gather, and sometimes even splitting in to 2 groups.
All HMCCQ Members and their friends are invited to take any route on the 2nd Sunday of each month to arrive at The Peachester Cafe Bakery at around 9:30 AM.
Stay a short time or a long time.
Food and drink is available.
Travel at your own pace and route via bitumen, gravel or off road.
Get your ride in before you stop or go straight there and arrange a further destination with others if you wish.
You may prefer to go to the Nambour clubhouse to see if others are there looking for ride buddies.
If so, you would depart Nambour at 8:45. It will not be led.
It is an historic motorcycle club so in the spirit of the club, we prefer you bring your old bike out for a ride if you can.
We welcome members from nearby HMCCQ groups.
Choose your own route for this ride, from your residence to the Old Fernvale Bakery and meet there for a coffee and chat.
With the amount of passing traffic on any Sunday, this quickly becomes an impromptu HMCCQ display.
All and any bikes (& cars) are welcome to attend.
